Guidelines

These guidelines play a major role in maintaining consistency in our small groups. Each guideline has a unique and important purpose and are set in place to allow our participants to remain safe and confidential.

1. Please keep your sharing focused on your own thoughts and feelings.

2. There is no cross-talk. Cross-talk is when two people engage in conversation excluding others. Each person is free to express their feelings without interruptions.

3. Please keep your sharing to 3-5 minutes so everyone has time to share.

4. It is okay to pass if you don't want to talk.

5. If another person's sharing is too graphic or upsetting please raise your hand and let us know.

6. We are here to support one another, we will not attempt to "fix" one another.

7. Anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements, what is shared in the group stays in the group. The only exception is when someone threatens to injure themselves or others.

8. Offensive language has no place in a Christ-centered recovery program.

9. Please silence your cell phones.
